Resources

The resources in this catalogue have been written and designed by those experienced in informal education practice. Wherever possible they have been produced in consultation with young people themselves and those 'working on the ground'. They offer practical assistance to paid educators and volunteers in planning and delivering programmes to young people.

The resources have come from UK Youth's experience in the field and our belief that young people are important, they are our future - that much is certain. Clear-sighted youth work is a valuable way of investing in and supporting them. The resources in this catalogue can assist workers to address public concerns about young people - their involvement with crime, the dangers of drugs, their formal education and more. At the same time our resources support work that listens, understands and supports young people to articulate their views on the world they are inheriting.

We welcome any feedback on your opinions and experience of using UK Youth's resources in your work with young people. Please also tell us about the areas you would like our future resources to cover. Email: publications@ukyouth.org
